The Robot Vacuum Deals Success Story You'll Never Be Able To

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

The design is also superior to the other models. It features a sleek, top piece that resembles an toy, not the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not accomplish this feat. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that use robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best choice is probably a hybrid. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can vacuum and mop your home at the same time. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles such as table legs and walls which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or change the labels of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is simple. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, but it can help to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive.

The base station is attractive and hides it when not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's most appealing feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovac I've tested that does a good job picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It can't climb stairs as well as competitors, for instance, and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to create a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price price.

However, if you're looking to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot there are many other options on the market with a wide range of eufy models that cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper, but offers many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, just connect one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be placed close to an outlet that has enough space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise It can be tucked away under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The most important feature that distinguishes the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It uses an integrated map to make an image of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of what it has already cleaned and what it is unable to access. If  floor vacuum robot  requires a recharge, it automatically returns to its base and resumes cleaning from where it began.

The eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 on the other hand is more affordable and much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials such as cereal.
